Microtonium

Microtonium

Microtonium emerged from a mutual fascination with the Trautonium, designed by Friedrich Trautwein in 1930. It began as a small project, utilizing sensor data over a serial connection and a sound engine created in Max. I later developed it into a standalone synthesizer using a Bela board, housed in a compact enclosure. Currently, Tim and I are continuing the development of Microtonium.

Microtonium (Teensy/Max MSP) is built in collaboration with Tim Schippers
